Gintschel ModellbauKarsten Gintschel is a young German steam models engineer, who has specialized in the creation or re-creation of functional models of steam turbines. One of the most known Karsten works examples is a model of the Heron of Alexandria steam sphere, believed to have been the first steam machine in history. Karsten Gintschel's models are completely designed and built by him in materials such as brass, copper, aluminium, wood etc.
Karsten Gintschel manufactures each of his models in very limited edition (a maximum of a few hundred units, often far less than that), that collectors from around the world praise for their elegance and high quality. | |
