All of Historic Steam Models Ltd products are designed and manufactured in the UK with emphasise on combining new technology and manufacturing techniques with the historic designs and industrial works of art which form their quality products.
Most of the components are manufactured using the latest CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) machining centres and therefore maintain precise tolerances and do not need any further machining or finishing. All paint work is stove enamelled, exposed brass components are electro-lacquered, steel components are made from high grade stainless steel and wooden components are stained and lacquered to prevent any degradation of the finished model.
