For more than twenty years, family artisanal workshops have started production in Vietnam of wooden boat models, taking advantage of the local exotic wood resources. With practice, quality progressed quickly, and the models of historical sailing ships - Furieux, Bretagne, Friesland, Superbe, Protecteur, Wasa, Victory etc reach a remarkable level of quality today, and demand for these models comes from the whole world.
Each ship scale model is reproduced accurately to the original ship. The hulls are made in planks on couples, like the originals, and exclusively out of exotic wood. The ornaments and figureheads are reproduced out of metal.
