The originality of the dolls and puppets made by Charliluce is due to the fact that their body is entirely made out of turned wood.

Charliluce uses light wood such as pine, alder or lime. The head is carefully sandpapered and varnished then decorated by hand. The hair is made out of quality wool. The assembly of the body and the arms and legs, all articulated by a chalk line, is made by joining. The dolls and puppets by Charliluce thus assembled measure 27, 32 or 60 cm.

These puppets and dolls can be undressed. Clothes are washable.
