One of the most famous historical sailing ships, thanks to its history wich became a famous movie.
Captain Bligh, who had command of the HMS Bounty ship and her 44 crew members, had received the order in 1787 to leave for the Island of Tahiti in the Pacific Ocean. On the way back, part of the crew of the Bounty organized a mutiny and left Captain Bligh and 18 of his faithful sailors on a frail boat in the middle of the Pacific. The mutineers approached the Island of Pitcairn in the bay which since then bears the name of Bounty.

The model

This model is produced by hand by Vietnamese craftsmen starting from hard exotic wood. The hull is built in broadsides on couples (boards fixed on the reinforcement). The level of detail is excellent, and finishing is superb. This model of boat is not in kit, but is directly ready to be admired.
