The Wasa: a superb Swedish vessel launched on August 10, 1628 in Stockholm, but which never left the harbour where she sank the day of its launching under a very strong swell which made it possible for water to enter by the open ports of the guns.

The model

This model is produced by hand by Vietnamese craftsmen starting from hard exotic wood. The hull is built in broadsides on couples (boards fixed on the reinforcement). The level of detail is excellent, and finishing is superb. This model of boat is not in kit, but is directly ready to be admired.
