She was launched on July 24, 1963 at Lunenburg. She has the largest working mainsail in the world measuring 4,155 square feet. The total length is 49 meter, the waterline is 34 meter long, and beam is 8 meter long. The mainmast, height from the deck is 38 meter with 5 officers, Chief Cook, 12 deckhands.
