This design of the Spiral ~Koru is taken from the national symbol of New Zealand, the fern front of the ponga tree, as each new front opens it like a Koru opening up. Therefore it depicts the meaning, new beginnings, growth/development.Handmade silver pendant, including leather or silver chain, box and certificate.

The Simbolica Maori collection pieces were made by artisans in New Zealand and are based on the old symbolism from Maori Culture. Most statues and pendants were carved from Nephrite Jade although you will also find some pendants made of bone.
