"Here are four printed metal parts (not six) and nine tungsten carbide bearings holding them together/apart. Yes, there should be 12 bearings...but there aren't.
Although it is a pure snap-fit, without adhesive or other cheating, I wouldn't class Holly as a puzzle, as it's rather difficult to get together, and once together, a very robust assembly. "These three views highlight twofold, threefold and fourfold axes respectively. There is only one complete threefold axis; the others are almost, but not quite.
"These handheld pieces are mostly created by a new direct-metal printing technique, which produces a composite steel-bronze metal with a rich texture. Some designs are new for this technology, while others are old favorites. All in all, they're some of the most satisfying objects I've ever laid hands on."
